It’s one of those products that is so damn good as is that it doesn’t really benefit from a collaborative partner. there isn’t much for the Maine-based company to gain from doing a collaboration on it. But that’s what is great about finding the right collaborative partner. They help you see something that you might not see yourself. And that’s exactly what Flowfold did. L.L. Bean’s first ever collaboration on a Bean Boot is with the fellow Maine company that makes wallets and accessories out of sailcloth. Flowfold added its sail cloth to the Bean Boot’s upper in an olive shade that feels right at home alongside the original colorways and constructions. The Flowfold x L.L. Bean Boot is available for $139.
