The Ford Ranger is one of the most anticipated trucks in recent memory. Now that it’s back the tuning wizards at Hennessey Performance in Texas wasted no time turning the midsized trucks into a fire-breathing, dirt chomping 350-horsepower beast. Officially dubbed the 2019 Hennessey VelociRaptor Ranger, the truck saw it’s stock 270 hp motor bumped up to a 350 hp version and it’s stock 310 ft lb of torque was ratcheted up to 385 ft lb. The changes allowed for 1.3 seconds to be shaved off the stock Ranger’s 0-60 mph time. The VelociRaptor Ranger is able to hit the number in 6.1 seconds.

But the folks at Hennessey didn’t just build the Ranger for the track. This thing is definitely dirt ready with an extra four-inch lift and BFG off-road tires that are four inches bigger than the stock version.

The Ranger was part of Ford’s truck lineup from 1983 through 2011 in the U.S. While the truck continued to be sold globally, it wasn’t until recently that Ford decided to bring the popular model back.

The Hennessey x Ford VelociRaptor Ranger costs $64,950 and is limited to just 500 units.
